Meet Ric Cavallero, our Senior Underwriter

Ric Cavallero has over 35 years of multifamily and commercial real estate underwriting experience.

Before joining Apartment and Commercial Loans, Inc. in 2011, Ric offered his knowledge and experience to a number of other professional corporations. He was an Underwriter for GE Capital, Heller Financial, Bridger Commercial Funding, Franchise Mortgage Acceptance Company, Resolution Trust Corporation, and McDonnell Douglas Finance Corporation. Ric also worked for many banks, such as Llyods, San Diego National, First Centennial, and Pacific Mercantile. Furthermore, Ric previously worked for the FDIC Receivership Asset Manager Bank as an auditor.

Ric operated on the lender side of the closing table for most of his professional career. As a result, he understands the work and commitment required to close a multifamily or commercial loan.

MEET HAROLD MASON, OUR SENIOR UNDERWRITER

Harold Mason has over 35 years of executive-level experience in the banking, real estate finance, and insurance fields. He has structured various types of commercial loans totaling more than $700,000,000. Harold has been CEO of a Private Lender approved to originate and close HUD, FHA, VA, Fannie Mae, as well as Freddie Mac commercial and residential loans. He employed over 80 full-time people, operating from offices in six states while licensed to do business in 17 states. The company maintained a loan servicing and REO portfolio of over $50,000,000. His responsibilities included direct oversight of the commercial loan origination and underwriting and post-closing departments, as well as day-to-day financial and administrative aspects of the company in conjunction with the Company President and other officers.

Harold has developed criteria and guidelines for underwriting and funding non-owner occupied residential, commercial real estate along with construction, development, and asset based loans, as well as sale leaseback transactions.

For the past five plus years, Harold has been underwriting commercial loans for Apartment and Commercial Loans, Inc.
